changes.... Word from The Editor

Yup. We've been online since 2004, and
the old model... well, it's old. We want to thank our advertisers
and supporters, and if you've been an advertiser who has
enjoyed any amount of success advertising with our low cost
web page ads who wants to stay on board, you're welcomed
to do just that. But.... we are no longer offering that service,
and are moving to other types of advertising models and changing
the entire look, feel and experience of the website, as
well as our mission and purpose. We're no longer offering graphic
art design, and no longer offering our low cost web
design and hosting services for small business. ( Unless you reeeally
really really beg us, or are an existing, paying
customer. You guys are ok. We love you.) But there's not
much here right now, as we rebuild and reconfigure. So the whole thing is kinna pre-relaunch.
We'll continue to have banners and links
that support small business, and at the incredibly silly low
costs we're famous for, because let's face it, times are tough,
and getting more bizzare every day and small business people are feelin'
the heat because we know you are on the front lines
of it all. So if you have a small business
website, we're here to help with cheap links that work, and
maybe even help you out with some ideas and free
resources. We're still in alliance with many small business groups that
have sprung up both before and after 2004, and
we plan to partner with them in ways that can benefit
your business. Stay tuned. |

Instead of our outdated advertising model and
related demographic, we are about to start promoting up and comimg
writers, musicians, and artists, by hosting their colums, websites,
music and art. We've got the space, and we're gonna start small, stay
local and provide MORE music and video content new and established
LOCAL artists... well, local to wherever you
are, this is the internet, afterall. Oh. And we're bringing back
XFMX One by popular demand. That's right. So stop
it with all the sad emails. We're gonna host the stream from
here, this time. And bear with us... the work is happening now,
so, some of the features will not work sometimes and
this will take a while. We're not some big corporate
gig. Not yet, anyway...
A Quick Overview of The Changes
It's not complicated, but if you've advertised here before, and you
dont contact us, your Webpage ads will expire and not
be replaced. We're phasing that out, and honoring any active agreements for hosting your pages, so don't worry. You can renew page
hosting with us, as is, but we are no longer doing photography and artwork on the same scale.
Gas is just too damned expensive. What can we say?
We ARE going to:
- First: Clean all the
dead links outta here.. Current economic conditions have
caused many of our clients to close their small businesses
and just vanish. Sad. But true. We will still offer banner
links to
any business that wants a cheap deal
on that, and we have some pretty danged sophisticated
ways of showing you how that's working, once you get on
board.
- Page Redesign: Sad But true, again. Lots of our old
pages will dissapear as well, cleaning up lots of room on our
server space for more music and video hosted from this site. We won't be doing
any new changes to existing pages.
You can, if it's your page. That's always cool. Email
us your changes and we'll upload them.
- Promote Original Music, Art, Poetry and Video : Ahhh. We're gonna use that room we made
for artists to be seen, heard, featured and reviewed as well
as promoting an interactive fan base by hosting same on our space. Sounds Good, Huh?
Interested in doing that for your book, band or art? Comix? Comics?
Anything...We wanna hear from you. Let's talk. We have lots
of experience and ideas.
- Reviews Have you been out to
catch a local band, or read a local author's work and it
turned you on so much you think other people need to check
it out too? Well, just step right up and
submit it with your pretty pic and email address and we'll
publish it right here. Who knows? You could be the next
Perez Hilton. Or not. He kinna creeps us out, truth told.
Plus, We will offer online reviews of submitted material for
instant feedback and promotion. Links to your Myspace and other sites.... it's all about
you.
- Hosting Your Stuff Here: Your Music, Artwork and
Words have a place in cyberspace. We're not snooty, and we
want the content. And You
want people to download samples of your stuff. You know
you wanna show off. Do it here. We get
the hits. We'll do ya right.
We No Longer Offer:
- Website
Design & Hosting. It was fun while it
lasted. We met some great folks, learned a lot and did some
travelling. But everyone else is doing it too, and probably
cheaper since the economy is starting to slide. This new
tack sounds like more fun.
- Full Page Web Ad
Design: Probably not, anyway, and not at our
old prices, if we do. As We mentioned, we're phasing most of
that out. But, existing clients can stay as long as
you like. If you design your own pages, and got
the jack, we can talk.
